Jess Taylor

Jess Taylor is an accomplished coach with a National USSF C Licence, recognized for her leadership and player development. At FC Milwaukee Nationals, she helped numerous athletes reach collegiate-level soccer success. Jess also brought her expertise to the Bavarian Soccer Club and the Tosa Kickers, where she served as Academy Director and contributed across various age groups. From 2004 to 2006, she was the Varsity Coach at Divine Savior Holy Angels (DSHA). Her career reflects a deep commitment to fostering talent and building strong, competitive teams.

 

Coach Taylor describes her coaching philosophy as: “I strive to build a team of players who respect each other, support each other and challenge each other. I believe in demanding the best from your players by being honest with where they are and giving them positive feedback to get to where they want to be, then holding them to their goal of wanting to improve in certain areas.”

  • Has over 20 years of coaching experience, highlighted by her time as head coach at Divine Savior Holy Angels High School
  • Three favorite soccer players of all time are Michelle Akers, Mia Hamm and Kristine Lilly
  • Started playing soccer in second grade and continued through her time at Marquette University
  • Most memorable soccer moment was scoring a goal against chief rival University of Wisconsin-Madison at Valley Fields in her junior season.
