TOSA KICKERS ANNOUNCE HIRING OF TECHNICAL DIRECTORS

Tosa Kickers are excited to announce the hiring of Calvin Deutsch and Jon Gulrajani as Technical Directors for our select program.  Calvin has coached Tosa Kickers teams for nearly two decades and has run our renowned U6 program since its inception.  He has served as Performance and Conditioning Coach for the Marquette University Men's Team and consults numerous high school programs and clubs regarding injury risk reduction and player health and wellness.  Calvin played within the MKSC Nationals and in the Olympic Development Program at the state level.

Jon has been a coach for more than 25 years, and is currently on the staff of the University of Wisconsin Women's Program.  He has led three different teams in the UW system to the NCAA tournament, holds the record for most coaching wins in a season at Mount Mary University, and led the Badgers to back to back Sweet 16 appearances in 2018 and 2019.

Together Calvin and Jon bring a wealth of coaching knowledge and experience to support our volunteer parent coaches.  They will build upon the platform established by Rob Harrington and will be working on the field with coaches to help improve the overall training environment and coach-player experience, focusing primarily on our U10-12 Select Boys and Girls teams.  Calvin will continue in his current role with our U6 program.

Volunteer parent coaches are a unique feature of the Tosa Kickers and our Technical Directors will aim to support those coaches to constantly improve our competitive soccer club by combining the best of volunteerism and professional soccer expertise.  Please join us in welcoming Calvin and Jon!
